What a week

The end of the week was really awesome for us! We started out Wed. by painting at a ladies house names lillian. Barb and Rebeca did a great job of painting all afternoon. Deb vacuumed inside and gave lillian a pedicure while lisa gave her a manicure. Lillian kept telling us how much she appreciated all we were doing especially the manicure and pedicure because she “Can’t drive to get into town to have her nails done”. During our sports evangelism at the park we learned a new perspective on spreading the gospel. Most of the time we think that means we are actually speaking the word instead we were able to remind a couple of young adults to read their bible regularly as we gave them manicures. We gave them all bibles after they committed to read them three days a week.

Our ask the lord afternonn gave us another chance to practice listening prayer some our our group went to help clean someones house and the rest of us went into the city of harlan looking for people to pray with. We prayed for two yound adult girls and gave a bible to a couple who were learning to read by reading their bible.

Overall this has been a wonderful, life changin trip. AIM does a great job of combining work and ministry oppurtunities withe a time for personal spiritual growth by making time for quiet time, worhsip, and teaching. I appreciate being encouraged to step out of my comfort zone into new areas of growth and ministry. Thank you for the oppurtunity to serve with you. God Bless
